Had two meaningful days of engagements at the 22nd Shangri-La Dialogue with leaders from the region and beyond.

It was a pleasure to meet President José Ramos-Horta and reaffirm Singapore’s continued support for Timor-Leste’s ASEAN journey. I met Australia’s Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Richard Marles, and had a fruitful discussion with EU High Representative and EC Vice-President Kaja Kallas on our strong ties and the challenges faced by our respective regions. I also enjoyed a warm catch-up with PM Anwar Ibrahim over tea.

Thank you to all who made this Dialogue a success. These engagements reflect the enduring importance of dialogue and trust in navigating an increasingly complex global landscape.
