An elderly woman was left bleeding from a head wound after losing her balance and falling onto the road outside Parkway Parade.
Thankfully, numerous passers-by and drivers stepped in to help her before the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) arrived at the scene.

A man hijacked a bus and caused it to crash into another in Hong Kong's North Point district on Friday (27 Feb).
Before taking over the driver's seat, the suspect also broke the rear right window on the upper deck of the vehicle, with one source claiming that he spoke incoherently and seemed dazed.

The Singapore government is reviewing foreign manpower policies affecting hawkers and small food and beverage (F&B) operators, but cautioned that relaxing quotas too far could create unintended consequences.

A 61-year-old elderly man in Singapore pleaded guilty a few days ago to stealing a total of 320 pieces of women’s underwear.
He was arrested after an HDB resident in Bukit Batok caught him with pockets stuffed full of stolen underwear and bras. The man explained that he felt the urge to steal underwear after drinking alcohol.
