During the inter-ministerial briefing on recent developments in West Asia, Sujata Sharma, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas said that 98% of LPG bookings are now done online, with delivery authenticated through secure codes. Since March 14, more than 79 lakh 19 kg cylinders have been sold.

During the inter-ministerial briefing on recent developments in West Asia, Mukesh Mangal, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways said that all Indian seafarers in the region are safe, with no incident involving Indian-flag vessels reported in the past 24 hours.
The DG Shipping control room has handled 6,727 calls and over 13,900 emails since activation, including 147 calls and 276 emails in the last 24 hours.
