Probably everyone has already seen the hype around the TG drop 🎁 for Knowledge Day 📚. Now, after the gift is released, a timer ⏳ appears — once it runs out, you can make a purchase, with a limit on how many items you can grab “per person.” The older the account, the shorter the timer.
My account was registered back in 2014–2015 (can’t even remember exactly anymore 😅). That’s why for the first wave of the drop my timer was only 2 hours, and for the second — just 20 minutes! For most people it was 8–12 hours and 2 hours, respectively.
A rare case when I actually feel the advantage 🙌
🔥 Because of this, prices for old accounts are skyrocketing 🚀. And with the new law in Russia banning account sales, only the black market 💸 remains — pushing the prices even higher.
Happy Knowledge Day! The perfect occasion to open a new book 📖✨

I went out to shoot in UV 🌌📸 without a tripod 🙈. I had to raise the ISO and shorten the exposure — which meant more noise 😅.
The UV filter is very dark, so I had to use a UV flashlight for extra lighting 🔦💜. On some shots this is especially noticeable — for example, in the center of the cabbage 🥬, where it looks like the color is different. But in reality, it’s just the light ✨.
A bee’s vision includes the UV spectrum 🐝🔮. So you can imagine yourself as a bee and decide which flowers you’d pollinate and which you’d ignore 🌸.

Can you believe it 🤯 — Steve Wozniak himself, the father of Apple 🍏 and the personal computer 💻, is coming to Moscow to give a talk! Of course, I’ll try to attend, and maybe even get his autograph ✍️.
It instantly reminded me of many years ago when Richard Stallman, the founder of the Free Software Movement 🐧, came to Russia. If you know what GNU is, then you definitely know him.
Back then, I never thought I’d actually get his autograph — and yet there were only about 30 people at the event 😲. I expected a full house, but ended up sitting right in front of the speaker.
Stallman turned out to be both awesome and a little eccentric 😊. He said he doesn’t like shoes because they “restrict his thoughts” 👣🤔. After his talk, he spent another hour chatting with us in an informal setting — I don’t even remember the details now, but the warm, friendly vibe stayed with me.
Once, I even had the chance to get Kevin Mitnick’s autograph 🕵️, but I got shy and only took a sticker from his community. I regret that now.
I doubt Wozniak’s event will have such an intimate atmosphere. But if I do manage to attend his talk, I’ll definitely share the story! I’m even thinking of buying his book 📖 — after all, a signature on a random notebook page just doesn’t feel right 😅.
