ETC is pleased to announce the upcoming release of a new book by Professor Aklilu Dalelo,

(The Teaching Profession and Quality of Education in Ethiopia)
This timely book explores the strong connection between the quality of education and the quality of teachers. Drawing on a rigorous analysis of global, regional, and national experiences, it offers bold and insightful recommendations on how to reverse the downward trend in the quality of education in Ethiopia.
Prof. Aklilu has served as a valued faculty member in ETC’s Department of Community Development since 2005. He played a key role in establishing the department and has taught many of its core courses. His new book is expected to serve as a wake-up call, urging both policymakers and educators to prioritize the teaching profession and educational quality in Ethiopia.
