⚠️ 508 settlers enter Masjid al-Aqsa under armed protection this morning Wednesday 22 April 2026 During the morning incursion period, 508 Israelis settlers invaded Masjid al-Aqsa under the protection of occupation forces, marking what they call “Independence Day” in the Hebrew calendar, aligned with the year 1948, the year of the Palestinian Nakba. Inside Masjid al-Aqsa, public group prayers were performed openly, along with singing, dancing, collective prostration and visible rituals, particularly in the eastern area of the Masjid. At the same time, Muslims were restricted from entering, others were forcibly removed, their movement controlled, and a number of young men and women were arrested. “And who are more unjust than those who prevent the name of Allah from being mentioned in His Masjids and strive towards their ruin? It is not for them to enter them except in fear. For them in this world is disgrace, and for them in the Hereafter is a great punishment.” (Quran - 2:114) Our role is to keep Masjid al-Aqsa alive in our hearts, our du‘a, our conversations, and our priorities. This is the face of a vile racist who raped a Sikh woman in her home because he thought she was Muslim. John Ashby has pleaded guilty to the religiously-aggravated rape and assault of a Sikh woman in Walsall who he wrongly believed to be Muslim. John branded her a 'Muslim b****' before attacking her. As he attacked her, he told her to say 'hallelujah' and 'repeat his mantra' that 'he was the master and she was a b****', Birmingham Crown Court heard. The judge said "He should be under no illusion that a life sentence is the right sentence in this case.
