Digitigrade Open-Stilts Update!

First off, Happy Pride Month! 🏳️‍🌈🎉

As previously promised, we were supposed to release the initial drawing batch for the feet assembly at the end of May, but, unfortunately, we will have to postpone the celebration of this milestone.

While doing our final check for each and every drawing, we realized that the “Ankle support plate” was only defined per the prototype size which only fits a 5’6″ tall wearer. We are currently making changes to the file to ensure that a range of sizes is available to fit most people.

Of course, things can’t be that easy and we ran into another technical difficulty. A known bug within FreeCAD. In short, any text linked to a projection group won’t save its position and will reset itself to the drawing origin.
That applies to all drawings that have a projection group in them.

The good news is that we have a workaround! Expect an Update on the new release date soon
