#Information | With the objective of strengthening and coordinating the civil security system for the safety of life and property and essential services during an emergency, especially an attack or disaster, a meeting was held through video conferencing with all the DC’s under the chairmanship of CM Shri Nayab Saini. During this, the CM gave necessary guidelines.

After the meeting, DC Shri Vikram Singh said that as per the instructions of the CM, efforts will be made to ensure facilities like lifts as per the need of the people in high rise buildings during blackouts. Apart from this, there should be no black marketing of food items, purchase of goods will be decided at the fixed rate only.

Similarly, provision will be made to ensure that fire brigade vehicles reach rural areas at the scheduled time. Helpline numbers will be issued which will be operational 24 hours a day to help people. It will be ensured at the district level that people do not fear or panic under any circumstances.
